Critical care medicine must evolve and adapt in order to provide the best patient outcomes. It is with this in mind that The Houston Methodist Center for Critical Care was
developed as part of a multidisciplinary approach in which our team provides
the best medical care to patients who are often in their most vulnerable
states. In corroboration with specialists
from other areas, our critical care medicine unit concentrates on improving a
patient’s health in the short term and minimizing that person’s risks in the
long term. The Center brings all the ICU’s within our system together with
a focus on quality, innovation, research and education.
