The Center for Neural Systems Restoration is an innovation hub for shedding new light on the human nervous system and developing next-generation technologies that advance the frontiers of neuroscience.
Houston Methodist and Rice University have joined forces to advance this research to restore neurological functions after brain and spinal cord injury, stroke neurodegenerative disorders and other neurological conditions.
The 7,000-square foot Center features a wide range of equipment for studying the human central nervous system, assessing and improving cognitive and motor skills and developing neural prosthetics.
