Community Art Project: Martin Luther King Jr. Day

An important part of employee engagement at Houston Methodist is celebrating and reflecting on different holidays, religious and cultural times of year. This is an example of an arts in health project by Houston Artist Marlo Saucedo where participants wrote verses of the "I Have A Dream" speech on certain areas of the canvas through the day, and at the end of the day the canvas revealed not only the speech but the image of Dr. King to be displayed in the lobby.
