Prevention of atherosclerosis in this patient population is of utmost importance. This seminar will review the clinical and imaging correlates of healthy vascular aging. Imaging tools to detect healthy vascular beds, including coronary and vascular calcium depositions and positron emission tomography coronary flow reserve, will be discussed.
