Patients with inflammatory bowel diseases frequently ask for dietary advice, however many physicians lack in-depth knowledge of the existing supporting dietary recommendations. Learners need to know which diets are effective for reducing symptoms in patients with inflammatory bowel disease so as to improve patients' quality of life. This activity will cover the recent advances in knowledge related to the role of nutrition for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases.
